Tym razem szczęście postanowiło się bardziej uśmiechnąć do niebieskiego terminatora. Parę długości ogona przed sobą mógł dostrzec dużego, szarobrunatnego ptaka o czarnych pręgach i białych oraz oliwkowych plamach. Policzki miał rude, a za okiem brodawkowa skóra. To nic innego jak kuropatwa - ptak siedział w suchych zaroślach i grzebał w ziemi, nie zdając soie sprawy z obecności drapieżnika.
